Price the trips on a quote

Price each leg by vehicle and distance, or set your own figure. A quote can’t go out until every trip on it has a price.

Price each leg

Open the quote and price every trip on it. For each leg, pick a vehicle and let the distance and the car’s rates set the figure automatically — because the addresses are pinned, the app already knows the kilometres. The quote total adds up as you go, and a quote can’t be sent while any leg is still unpriced, so nothing goes out with a gap.

Let the vehicle do the maths

The price comes from the vehicle you choose. Each car carries its own base fare (with an optional distance included) and a per-kilometre rate for the extra distance — so an Airport Transfer in the Mercedes S-Class prices differently from the same run in an 8-seater. Set your rates once on the vehicle and every quote follows them. See Add a car.

Fixed or calculated

Use calculated pricing for standard point-to-point work, and type your own fixed figure for negotiated jobs, events, weddings or hourly hire where distance doesn’t tell the whole story. You can mix both across a multi-trip quote — calculate the airport runs and set a flat price for the day’s wedding chauffeuring. See Create a quote.

Tip. For very long runs, switch the vehicle to tiered distance pricing so a cross-country transfer charges a lower per-km rate on the motorway miles — the quote picks the tiered rate up on its own.

VAT and the total

If you charge VAT, set it up once and it applies to the quote as its own line, so the figure the customer sees is the figure they’ll be invoiced. See VAT & tax. The running total updates live as you price each leg, so you always know where the whole job stands before you hit send.

When pricing is done

With every leg priced, the quote is ready to send and track. When the customer accepts, the trips and the exact pricing you set here carry straight across — see Accepting & converting a quote. Nothing gets re-keyed, so the price you agreed is the price you bill.
