The driver's trip link

Every assigned trip carries a private, secure link — the driver's run sheet and live location, with no login and no app to install.

The secure link

When you assign a driver, we generate a private link for that specific job. The driver opens it on their phone — no login, no download — and sees the run sheet: pickup, drop-off, passenger name, timing, and any notes or special requirements you added. For an airport run it also shows the flight number and terminal. It's the driver's single source of truth for the trip.

Get it to the driver

You don't have to copy anything by hand. From the trip or the dispatch board you can send the link to the driver by SMS or Telegram, or let it go out with the emailed job alert. However it arrives, the driver taps once and they're on the run sheet. See Notifying the driver.

Live location, from en route to completed

Opening the link lets the driver's phone share its location. That's what powers live tracking: you can follow the job as it moves through en route, on scene and completed, with the start and completion locations and timestamps recorded against the trip. You always know where the car is without ringing the driver mid-job. See Following a trip live.

Tip. Ask drivers to allow location access the first time they open a link. If they decline, you still get the run sheet and the status updates — you just lose the live map for that trip.

Reassigning invalidates the old link

Security is built in. If you reassign the trip to a different driver, the previous link stops working immediately and a fresh one is issued to the new driver — so an old link that's been forwarded around can never open the job. Passenger check-in code

Each trip also carries a passenger check-in code, shown on the run sheet, so the driver can confirm they've picked up the right person — handy at a crowded arrivals hall or when Aoife Byrne is one of a dozen names on the concourse. Between the private link, the live location and the check-in code, both you and your customer know the job is in safe hands.

Note. The link is private but not password-protected, so treat it like any job detail — send it to the assigned driver, not to a group chat. Reassigning always retires the old one.
