A driver can't open their trip link
A driver link that won't load, or won't share location, almost always comes down to a handful of things. Work through these and you'll have them on the run sheet.
Check the trip is still theirs
Reassigning a job retires the old link on purpose — it's a security feature, so a forwarded link can never open a job that's moved on. If a driver's link says it's invalid, confirm the trip is still assigned to them, then send the current link from the trip. The one they were sent earlier may simply be the retired one.
Where to find it
Trips → open the assigned trip → resend Driver link
Open it on the driving phone, in a browser
The link opens in a normal mobile web browser — there's no app to install. Make sure the driver taps the full, current link (not a truncated copy from a chat) and opens it on the phone they'll actually drive with, since that's the phone that shares location. A stale copy pasted into a group chat is a common culprit.
Where to find it
Driver's phone → tap the current link → run sheet loads
Location won't share
If the run sheet loads but the car isn't showing on your map, the driver needs to allow location access when their browser asks — and location needs a secure connection, which the proper link provides. If they tapped “block” by habit, they can re-allow it in the browser's site permissions and reload. Even without location, the run sheet and the Start/Complete buttons still work, so the job is never at risk.
Where to find it
Driver's browser → allow location → reload the link
Still no joy
If the link still won't load after resending the current one, reassign the trip (even to the same driver) to issue a fresh link, and have them open that. For how the link works end to end — the run sheet, live location and check-in code — see The driver's trip link, and if it's still stuck, contact support with the trip number.
